This XK120 Roadster was built in May 1950, and much of its earliest history is unknown. In 1966, the car was acquired from a Belgium-based dealer by John Keithley of Denver, Colorado. The Jaguar remained in the Keithley family’s care until 1978, when it was sold to Roy Ide of Conifer, Colorado. ‌ The Roadster was later acquired in 1984 by Richard Zeder of Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Mr. Zeder piloted the Jaguar on the 1997 California Mille road rally and later subjected it to an impressive photo-documented restoration in the early 2000s that continues to present beautifully.

Originally finished in cream with a biscuit and red interior, chassis 670266 was refinished in silver with a contrasting red leather interior and black-fabric, folding soft top during the restoration. This Jaguar retains its matching-numbers engine block per its JDHT Certificate on file, and benefits from an upgraded five-speed gearbox and stainless-steel exhaust that improve performance and driveability without disturbing the car’s character.

Accompanied by a tool kit, jack, tire pump, and side curtains, this handsome XK120 Roadster with its 16" steel wheels and rear-wheel covers offers the best of both worlds: a thoughtfully upgraded classic Jaguar with all the style and beauty of a stock XK.
