This exceptional 1950 Jaguar XK120 Alloy Roadster represents one of just 242 alloy-bodied examples built. Constructed on February 13, 1950, chassis 670132 was originally delivered to Jaguar Cars in Brussels, Belgium, and elegantly factory-finished in black with a two-tone Biscuit leather interior and black convertible top, as documented by its Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust (JDHT) Certificate.

The first owner of this Alloy Roadster was Guy Gernay, who retained the Jaguar for 28 years, eventually importing it to the US. A photo in the vehicle’s history file shows the XK120 during Mr. Gernay’s ownership sporting wire wheels, center knock-offs, and an air scoop on the hood – a configuration suggesting the car may have been used as a gentleman racer.

In 1978, this XK120 passed to its second owner, Rick Camparetto of Long Island, New York. After a decade of ownership, Mr. Camparetto commissioned a meticulous restoration of the car. The matching-numbers engine was restored to its original specifications, and the car was finished in its striking black exterior and Biscuit leather interior, while still retaining its recognizable hood scoop. Finishing touches included period, black painted-disc wheels as well as rear fender spats. Now offered with just four owners from new, this beautifully restored XK120 is accompanied by a soft top, side curtains, jack, tool roll, records, and JDHT Certificate.

*Please note that this vehicle has a combined acceptance to two Mille Miglia events – the Warm Up USA Event in November 2025 and the Mille Miglia 2026 – subject to registration and payment of entry fee.
